Each of our children get a trip with mom or dad to celebrate their 14th birthday. Kyrah and mom went to Captiva Island, Florida for three days at the beginning of August.

We stayed in room 252
We walked the beach. It was very pretty.
We had supper at the restaurant at the resort. They hold crab races on Monday night.
Kyrah chose crab #52. She named her Matilda. Her crab came in 5th place out of 48 crabs.
Then we had giant, juicy burgers!
Next morning we woke up to see the sunrise in the cove.
And had a really healthy breakfast.
Then we took a parasail ride.
We spent most of the afternoon between the beach and the pool.
We watched some really beautiful sunsets on the beach.
She bought a souvenir necklace.
Saying goodbye.
On our way back, we stopped at the Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum on Sanibel Island.
