August 29th -September 7th
We spent 9 days in Rocky Mount NC at Mike Cook’s gigantic gym.

We arrived two days before the big Labor Day Weekend competition and Donald, Jeshuah, Josiah and Jeremiah helped finish up building and lining the big pool.

Competition was fierce over the weekend. There were 143 competitors. Four grueling stages.
Our kids didn’t place but sure had a lot of fun. They are busy making videos of their runs and we’ll let you know when those will be posted on the NINJA page to view.
We stayed the week afterward as we had some maintenance scheduled for the motor home in a nearby town. Then we had to wait for a package of curriculum to be delivered (thanks Mr. Bob!).
We also bought a van so we can run around while leaving the “house” parked. We bought a used, 8-passenger Honda Odyssey (Thanks Mr. Mike Cook for your assistance in this process and Marshall at Davenport Autopark).
Here it is all loaded up on the tow dolly (a huge thank you to Mr. Gary A. in Arcadia, FL).

Thank you again Mr. Mike Cook for your hospitality and generosity towards us while we were in Rocky Mount. You are truly a blessing.

We headed out Friday early afternoon for Pocohontas State Park in Virginia. Arrived at 7:00pm and set up house for the night.
Always good to see you and your Family! Karli says “HI”……
