We were back at Hocking Hills State Park on Tuesday morning. It had rained all night and was overcast and cool.
Our first hike was to Cedar Falls.

Contrary to the name, there are no cedar trees in the forest.

Since it had rained all night, we were curious what the waterfalls at Ash cave looked like. So we returned to see.
There was much more water coming down this day than the day before.
Monday:

Tuesday (after an all night rainfall)

We then drove over to Whispering Cave and hiked there for a couple of hours.

The autumn colors were still vibrant.

Suzie’s cousin Melanie who lives in Columbus, invited our family over for supper Tuesday evening. We had a wonderful meal and even better fellowship and fun. The kids took to each other like they had been friends all their lives.
