Five months ago we took off on this adventure.
We’ve seen a lot, put on thousands of miles on both the motor home and the van, have learned to live with less, seen marvelous sights and enjoyed each other’s company. We have also experienced our first sickness….the stomach bug. So far only Jed, Audrah and Kyrah. We’re taking apple cider vinegar to hopefully ward it off for the rest of us.
We spend the day again with our friends. We met them 25 years ago. They have worked many years with Wycliffe Bible Translators. Their chief mission is to get Bibles into the language of all peoples so they can read God’s Word in their mother tongue.
The kids hung out for the day while the parents spent some time together. The kids played games, played music, wrote songs, made and ate lunch together (those who were feeling well) among other things.
We parents went hiking at a local park.
Thought this was a neat bench.

Looks like someone didn’t quite finish the job.
We all met back together for supper and an evening of hanging out. Someone’s happy about being the winner. (0:
