We joined Donald’s sister Shawn and her husband Kirk for church in Daytona at the First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach.

This weekend is the beginning of Bike Week. This year is the 78th year they’ve done this event. There were quite a few bikers in church.
After church, we decided to drive through town to take a look. There are many bikes all over the town and most of them are quite loud!!
Saw some interesting vehicles.
Helmets are optional in the state of Florida.

We then took a drive on Daytona Beach.
It is funny seeing speed limit signs on the beach and watching people looking both ways before crossing the sand.
On our way home, we stopped one last time at Bobby and Virginia’s house. Talked and visited with the family for several hours before saying goodbye.
We stopped at Walmart to get some groceries before heading to the motor home. While Suzie was in the store, a friend from Donald’s past messaged him telling him she’d love to see us. Since this was our last day in the area and she lives close to where we had the motor home parked, she invited us over at 10:30pm! We visited for about an hour before heading back to the motor home. Thanks Jennifer for the visit, it was short but sweet! Unfortunately we failed to take photos.
We all fell into bed after a long, fun day.
