Happy Independence Day!!
Donald, Kyrah and Jedidiah took a mule trail ride partway down into the canyon today. They had to be at the meeting point at 7:30am. Since we are almost an hour away, we were all up at sunrise!

At the lodge there is this statue in tribute to a little burrow that used to live in the canyon named Brighty. You can read his story here.
We went back up to Point Imperial and to see Angel’s Window too.

We had dinner at the lodge. We all got bison burgers except Donald, he got bison ribs.
