We’re headed to Texas. We stopped today in Tombstone AZ at the OK Corral.
First we had breakfast at the OK Cafe.

Walk with me down the boardwalk…
Neat bench

Hmmm…what would happen in here?

It’s actually a barber shop(0:
Gift shop lollipop. What in the world?!?!

We watched a movie presentation on the history of Tombstone:

The town started because of the gold/silver rush in the west. Tombstone had silver.

These maps shows the different mining claims.

Then went to a re-enactment of the fight between the Earps and the Cowboys at the OK Corral.

Actually, the real fight didn’t happen at the OK Corral but in a nearby lot. They tout this spot as the actual place with figures in place as Wyatt Earp sketched.

Then we headed to Chiricahua National Monument about 75 miles away. If you ever get a chance, be sure to visit this place!

We checked out the visitor center first and got Junior Ranger books.

Watched the movie about the place too…this button was beneath the TV screen.

So Jeremiah had to prove it true…
Then we went hiking. This place is so cool!

Come walk with me…

This one looked like a face.

Sun was starting to set.

The skies in the desert are absolutely amazing to behold!

After sunset we drove another 4 hours to get to Las Cruces NM. Stayed the night in a Walmart Parking lot.
