Happy 100 years!!

Today is our adopted grandpa’s 100th birthday. Happy Birthday Mr. Steve!!

Suzie had a routine procedure at the hospital early this morning. Then to the grocery store to get supplies for the party this evening. Then to the venue to drop off the supplies and get set up.

Then back to the doctor’s office to get a skin test read. Then to the RV so Donald and the boys could go back to Spring Lake to make an offer on the house.

We picked up Mr. Steve at 4pm to head for supper. He was all dressed up with a nice shirt and a tie.

He wanted to go to Pizza Hut.

We held the party at Circle M City in Sanford.

We headed to the party but stopped first to pick up the huge cake! And yes, we put 100 candles on his cake. Donald had the bright idea to bundle them in groups of 10. So we put ten bundles of 10 candles on his cake. I don’t often (haven’t yet in my lifetime) get to put 100 candles on a cake so you know I took full advantage of this opportunity to do so. (0:

Mr. Steve is in the yellow jacket.

He was a good sport.

We had a great turnout…I counted 60 people.

We sang before lighting the candles.

Donald starting the lighting…

100 lit candles!!!!

Mr. Steve was featured in the local newspaper.
