Today is our last day in the Raleigh area. We’re heading to Rocky Mount tomorrow.
Donald had lunch at Danny’s BBQ in Cary with some of his former work mates. Ashley brought her newborn and Donald enjoyed some baby time.
We then headed to the Merletto’s for a little bit to catch up. Their daughter Maya is a doll!
She took us out to see the donkeys.

Let Jed swing her on her neat tree swing.
Then we went inside to sit in front of the warm woodstove.
Here she is telling Jeremiah something VERY important.
The Brants had us over for supper one last time. We ate yummy spaghetti and had some FANTASTIC homemade donuts…made fresh right after supper!
Of course the kids enjoyed hanging out together.

We check out at noon tomorrow to head east.
