Kooshareem, Utah

August 20-21, 2020

Last time we came through Utah, we missed Capital Reef and Canyonlands National Parks. So this time we are planning to visit both.

A salt flat in Utah

Obviously not much rain comes through here as they store their hay bales outdoors stacked like this:

There is a lot of irrigation happening in this part of the desert as there are fields and fields of crops growing.

Donald said, “You know you’re driving slow when a school bus passes you!!

What a grand view the Walmart has!

Lush valleys with livestock.

We stayed in a small town called Koosharem. It was so quiet and peaceful and with such lovely views!

On Friday, we drove up to see the Pando Aspen forest. All of these trees are the SAME tree. They all have grown up from the same root system.

We then drove through Fishlake National Forest.
