August 5-14, 2020
We stayed at the Grand Canyon for 2 weeks. Donald really enjoyed waking up in the morning and being able to walk to the rim of the canyon.
Elk just roam around the park and campground.
The views are so GRAND!
We drove to Tuscan to get fuel, do laundry and grab some pizza.
Jed got a new sleeping bag.
Lipan Point, this is where we viewed the Persedes Meteor shower for two nights. It was AMAZING. We counted over 100 meteors in about 3 hours!

Kyrah tried to do a box jump onto the rock wall and missed.
Jed asked mom to teach him to make pancakes.
In the mornings we would go to the resort area (there was a cell tower there and we could get online) and sit on the bench and do school. What a view for school huh?

We went for a drive out of the park and came upon these guys!

On this day we decided to try elk burgers at a restaurant at the resort.

Audrah and Jed finally (after much work by their daddy) got their Junior Ranger Phantom Ranch badges! He asked several different rangers before he found someone who even knew there were such badges. You earn them by hiking down to the bottom of the canyon.
