We were planning on heading to Great Basin National Park by driving through the Hopi Indian Reservation east of the Grand Canyon and up throuhg Utah. But due to Covid, they had closed the road through there and we had to go west towards Las Vegas, Nevada.

Stopped at Walmart and saw this! It was a first for us.

Lake Mead
Visited a BBQ restaurant that we had visited last time we were in Boulder City NV.
It was so hot, all we did was go down to the lake to swim. Surprisingly, the water was actually cool and pleasant.
Unfortunately, Jedidiah came down with chickenpox here. He must’ve been exposed at the Grand Canyon.
