Audrah and I are back in Denver.

Jed got a special facemask from Uncle Frank.

Jed wanted to go ice skating so we found a rink in Denver.

We found out that a couple of the kids from Rock Solid Warrior (where Jeshuah and Jeremiah work) were in Castle Rock, Colorado for a ninja competition. Since Castle Rock was only 30 minutes from where we were staying, we decided to go. Ninja Intensity is the name of the gym and they had a fantastic competition.
This is why the town is named Castle Rock:

Audrah and Jedidiah worked on resetting and cleaning obstacles during the competition.

LOVED this oreo obstacle.
Stage 4 chain climb.

Philly cheese steak for lunch off the lunch truck. YUM!

We were told by a lady at the competition, who is also living in a motor home, that there were some good places a little north to see moose. So we headed through Denver again. The smoke from the wildfires and the wind were fierce making driving a little sketchy.

As we got further from the cities, it cleared up.

So pretty…

It started snowing.

Rocky Mountain National Park, it was closed but we drove in it a little bit so we could say we did. (0:

Since there was snow and ice, we didn’t want to stick around and possibly get stuck so we headed south again. Saw these wind turbines blinking in the dark.

We stopped in Limon, Colorado at a rest area for the night.
