Month of September
Josiah rented a car to head up to NC to attend the annual Labor Day Competition at Ultimate Backyard Warrior in Rocky Mount NC. The girls and I tagged along.
Brothers hadn’t seen each in other since Christmas.

There is a little hamburger joint across the bridge in downtown Punta Gorda that has the best burgers; Burg’r Bar. Check it out if you’re ever in the area. Pretzel bun and sweet potato fires. Delish!
Kyrah wanted to donate blood. She was thrilled to find out that she, too, has O- blood like the rest of us.
Up in NC, Jeshuah and Jeremiah are training for an adventure race with Julia and Rick. Mr. Rick is their leader and is teaching them orienteering on this day. When they go to race, they cannot use GPS nor will they get the map until they check in. The 10 hour race includes trekking, paddling and mountain biking.

While I was in Florida…
We took Uncle Frank out for his birthday dinner at Lime Tequila. This waiter was amazing! He had 5 full, hot plates stacked up his arm when he came to deliver them to our table.
Before the girls and I headed back out west, we went to a tree/ropes course in Bradenton called Treeumph.
