Mushroom Rock State Park, Kansas

October 12, 2020

We drove most of the day through Kansas. Fields of hay bales are one of my favorites.

Feed lots

Miles of cornfields

We had a goal of reaching Mushroom Rock State Park in Kansas. It is a tiny park, only 5 acres. But their rocks are kinda cool.

They look like…well, mushrooms.

We stopped at a Walmart in McPhearson, Kansas. There was a Long John Silvers in walking distance so we headed there. As we arrived, they informed us that they had just closed so we walked on to a Freddy’s. Got burgers and custard…which is smoother than ice cream.
