November 13 & 14, 2018
Tuesday was a drizzly day. We hiked at Turkey Foot trail in the Bankhead national forest.

We also visited the oldest jail in Alabama, second oldest in the nation.

Nails were hammered into the wood so the inmates could not saw through the boards and escape.
Wednesday decided to go hiking at Alabama’s Natural Bridge. It is the longest this side of the Rocky Mountains.
We stopped at a Jack’s fast food for lunch first. It was the first time we’d ever been in one.

This picture shows the enormity of the place.

Can you see Audrah?

It was cold and rainy for most of the hike. Fortunately, we stayed dry under the rocks.
We went directly from the park to Huntsville as we had an evening planned at a ninja gym there.
We stopped at a subway for supper. It was right across the street from the US Space and Rocket Center. There is a full-sized rocket.

Ninja Obstacle Academy opened their doors to us to play for a couple hours. Kip Ragsdale surprised us by showing up to play with us.

Lindsey is a sweet friend.

Awww sounds fabulous and so awesome about the gym and the guy showing up to play! What a blessing!
