Just a plain old Saturday…

November 17, 2018

Not really…

We woke up to a beautiful sunny morning.

Donald took Jeshuah out for breakfast (he likes to take them each out with him from time to time). They played chess and Donald said Jeshuah beat him (once again).

Suzie and the girls took nice hot showers and did a couple loads of laundry.

Josiah changed a valve on the toilet (we’d been having issues with the scent). So a new valve did the trick.

Audrah and Jed played on the playground at the campground making a ninja course to run.

After lunch in the motor home, we headed to Nashville for competition (this is what lunch looks like).

This was a UNAA qualifier at Adventure Fitness. In this league, Jeremiah competes in the adult category (In NNL he competes in the Young Adult category ages 16-17). So, that means in this competition, he is competing against Jeshuah. (0:

There were 40+ competitors. They ran in two waves. Jeshuah and Jeremiah were in the second wave which began running at 5:30pm.

Jeremiah was the 14th runner and he did fabulous.

Jeshuah was runner #21, he was second to last.

He took 1st place and Jeremiah took 3th. They both completed the course and there was only about 30 seconds difference in their run times.

Congrats to them and also to their friend Elijah Browning who took 2nd place.

Afterwards, they were all allowed to play around on the obstacles for about 45 minutes.

Audrah completed Cannonball Run and Jedidiah completed Lache alley….there were adults that couldn’t complete it. (0:

We hit Chick-Fil-A for a second night in a row for dinner. We don’t get tired of Chick-Fil-A.

  1. Congrats to all three!! Having been privileged to see part of their growing years and a great portion of the entire family’s kindness and compassion, I expect nothing less than the best for you guys!! I still love you and you are still the best neighbors I ever had!

  2. Thanks for your kind words Annie. It was a pleasure being your neighbor for so many years. Love that you know so much history about the area. Blessings!!
