Before leaving Mckinney State Park we decided to take one more hike around the park.

Donald took Suzie and Kyrah to see an old homestead and grist mill. While they did that, the other kids went bouldering (climbing on rocks under 12 feet off the ground with no ropes or equipment).

We all met back up to watch Donald take a swim in the cold water.

Here he is approaching a sunning turtle. The water is about 57* by the way…..
Glad he’s around to hold up those bounders.

We then went back to the motor home and cleaned up and packed up to move on to the next place. Fortunately, we only had a 1.5 hour drive to the new place.
Saw some pretty views as we drove to Blanco State Park in Blanco, Texas. This campground is a very small one in the small, quaint town of Blanco.

We had a couple hours of daylight so we took a short hike around at Blanco.

Kids ninjaing under a bridge.
