We didn’t sleep in much this morning as the state park where we’re staying had a 9:30am, 1 mile fun-run.

Everyone ran but Suzie (knee is still not quite right).
After that, we headed back into San Antonio as we had lunch reservations at the Tower of the Americas. The restaurant slowly spins around to give diners a full 500+ foot high view of San Antonio. The Tower was built from 1966-1968 for the 1968 World’s Fair which was called “Hemisfair”.

Can’t beat the view! A helicopter flew very close.

Donald did a time lapse video while we were eating. I think he said it shows a full rotation.
We ordered calimari as an appetizer. We were kind of surprised when they were served and actually were little breaded squid!
After lunch, we took another river walk downtown. It was overcast, cold and windy so we didn’t stay out there too long.

There was a momma duck and about 11-12 ducklings.

Thought this picture was neat. It’s a door to nowhere. That has kind of been our motto through selling everything and going on this trip. God impressed to Suzie that if she didn’t walk through the door, she’d never know what good and even better things He had in store. She had to simply trust Him.

We came back to the motor home and ate leftovers for supper.
Donald and several of the kids took a night hike at the park with a ranger. The sky was overcast so they didn’t see many stars but did see glow worms. On the ride back into the park, they saw some wild hogs.

There was hot cocoa awaiting them when they returned. With marshmallows too!
I think the last two days have caught up with Jedidiah.
