A treat

Today we were invited over for lunch by a couple we met about 6 weeks ago in our first Texas state park. They were camping a couple spots over from us. They told us if we were ever near Houston to let them know as they wanted to have us over to their place.

They have a lovely home out in the country. They made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door!

There was enough food for an army!! They made sausage and brisket and sides.YUM!! There were also lots of appetizers and several desserts. Everything was delicious! No one left the table hungry that’s for sure.

We had great conversation. Talked about RVing and showing dogs. Mrs. C shows her Golden Retriever. We also played some videos of the boys running ninja courses.

They loaded us up on oranges and lemons from their backyard trees!

They have a big pond in the yard with a visiting duck.
