Saturday & Sunday, May 11&12, 2019
We spent both days in the Tacoma dome watching the filming of the American Ninja Warrior show. Since we’re from back east, there weren’t as many people running here that we know. But it was fun meeting new people.
This is the first time since season 3 that the taping occurred during the day and the first time ever competing indoors. It was nice to have it climate controlled, no worries about the weather and at a normal time during the day. The sunrise wasn’t a problem either. Suzie liked how the salmon ladder sounded in the dome. It really echoed.

Front row seats on day two. Tee stadium seats were much more comfortable than the bleachers that ANW usually has set up on the temporary set.

Made some new friends. The kids met Michael on the sidelines at taping on day one and they became fast friends. Day two he was back with his wife. (0:

Caught a photo in the parking lot with the Cowboy Ninja Lance Pekus and his family.

Jeremiah made a book of posters that he held up. Here’s the page he made for Jessie Graff.

Sunday was Mother’s Day. After watching the competition, we went out to dinner with a couple of ninjas and their families. Dan and Sherri Yager and their children and Lance and Heather Pekus and their children as well as Lance’s mom, Vivian. Michael and Diana also joined us.
