Today we headed to town for Jeremiah to take a CLEP test in Biology. While he tested, Suzie, Josiah and Kyrah went grocery shopping.
After picking him up…(BTW he passed the test and got himself 2 HS credits and 6 college credits!!) we went shoe shopping. Both he and Josiah were bursting out of their tennis shoes.
Suzie took Kyrah, Audrah and Jedidiah to the visitor’s center for them to get their Junior Ranger badges This is a national recreation area and so the kids can get books of activities to do to earn badges.
We stopped outside the visitor’s center to look at some cool cactus plants.
The park ranger told us that on 2 separate occasions they had to call paramedics because people had actually hugged this cactus tree and needed medical attention!
Suzie and Donald went out for supper at a really good smokehouse in Boulder City called Fox Smokehouse BBQ.
Then Donald took the three big boys to see End Game at the theater. The theater is in a casino…it was quite luxurious.
We are headed out of Las Vegas tomorrow to Zion National Park in Utah.
