Heading East

Saturday, July 6, 2019

Today we left Grand Canyon and headed northeast.

Audrah lost a tooth.(0:

Pretty views in Arizona. These rock structures are so neat just sitting up there.

We stopped to visit Four Corners. It is where Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico all meet. It is the only point in the United States shared by four states, leading to the area being named the Four Corners.

Flying above each state is their state flag and the Indian Nation flag. Three states, New Mexico, Utah and Arizona are represented by Navajo peoples and Colorado is Ute, which you can see their flags flying next to the state flag.

We walked a circle around the  monument so we could each step in a different state as we circled. Then we all touched our toe into the very middle of the circle.

Gotta ninja there too…

We continued on into Colorado to our campground near Mesa Verde Colorado.
