Today we visited Mesa Verde. This National Park features cliff dwellings left by Pueblo peoples.
This shows you how high up these people lived in the mesa.

These people farmed the top of the mesa and lived in the cliffs below.
The clouds were beautiful
Before moving into the cliff dwellings, they lived in pithouses on top.

We went on a Ranger led tour of the Longhouse Cliff Dwelling.

There was a seeping spring in the dwelling from which the Indians could gather water.

Had to make a Walmart run on the way back to the campground.
On the way back to the campground, we saw this rainbow over our motor home.
An amazing lifestyle! Plenty of ninjas lived there I am sure. Liked my ninja boys cart train from Walmart to the RV!
That was a lot of groceries too!!
