It was a couple hour drive from Mt. Saint Helens to Mt. Rainier. We parked at a campground and drove the van into the park. There are gigantic Douglas Fir and Cedar trees in this park.

Gotta get some ninja-ing in of course.

We hiked upwards. We got high up enough to walk through snow on the trail.

Cannot get enough pretty pictures!

Saw some deer

Come walk with me…

Fall colors are appearing

Even saw a bear!!
He didn’t even pay any attention to the humans watching him.

We drove into the small town of Packwood, WA and stopped at Cruiser’s Pizza for supper. We had decent burgers and the waitress was really nice. The town has a huge herd of elk that wanders the streets.

On our way home we spotted this sign…never before have we seen a volcano evacuation sign.

Stopped at a gas station on the way home and saw this hug-able Sasquatch.
