Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday October 14-16, 2019
Monday– Moved north to Redding California today.
California is a really pretty state. Here is a very long cliff, thought it was neat.
Donald and the big boys wanted to go back to the Redwood Forest to check something out but didn’t want to take the motor home all that way back (it’s faster to drive the van). We needed a little time, too, to do some maintenance on the motor home and van and catch up on a good bit of laundry so we picked Redding as a kind of middle spot with a bigger city (needed Lowe’s, Walmart, Camping World etc).
We’re at Redding RV park. It’s a nice park, right off interstate 5. Clean, hot showers (we weren’t able to get showers in Yosemite so we were VERY thankful to get them today) and washers and dryers plus electricity.(0:

Tuesday– Donald, Jeshuah and Jeremiah headed off for the day to the Redwood forest area. Suzie, Kyrah, Audrah and Jed stayed at the RV park and did school, six loads of laundry, cleaned house and watched Herbie the Lovebug.

Wednesday– the RV got a new oil filter and deadbolt lock. The car got an oil change. Huge thank yous to Donald, Jeshuah and Jeremiah for taking care of the equipment. It definitely makes things last longer when you take care of them.
Jed got a huge lollipop from the lady at the front desk of the park when we went to ask for a couple more nights here at the park.
There was a burger joint about a mile from the RV park so we had dinner there.
Planning to visit Lassen Volcanic National Park tomorrow.
