Today…sand dunes! Mesquite Sand dunes.

Come walk with me…

The tiny points on the tops of the dunes are Audrah, Jeremiah and Jeshuah.

We took along our sliding disks that we got at White Sands NM.

Climbing back up after a sliding down.

After several hours on the hot sand we decided to head back to the campground. There is a resort across the street from the campground that has a warm spring-fed pool. They sell day passes and everyone wanted to swim and then use the showers (we are dry camping and don’t have showers at the campground).

On the drive back we checked out the Devil’s Cornfield.

The temperature was nice and we were refreshed.

Trees at the resort.

We wanted to catch sunset at Dante’s View. This is where you can see down to the Salt Flats 282 feet below sea level.

And Telescope Peak (tallest one) at over 11,000 feet.
