Leaving Walmart after breakfast, we were only 15 minutes from Manatee Springs.
It was fairly chilly and breezy so we walked on the boardwalk along the spring and run to the Suwannee River.

We didn’t see any manatees in the spring.

Some were brave enough to get in the water. Actually, the water was warmer than the air so getting out was worse than getting in.
Some preferred to stay out of the water and do other things.
We left in the afternoon as everyone was pretty cold and not wanting to swim anymore.

So we headed to Donald’s nephew’s family a couple hours away. They had hot loaded potato soup for us when we arrived. YUM!! Thanks Daniel and Ashley!
