Headed to Greensboro

Thursday, February 20, 2020

Today we head to Greensboro, NC for National Ninja World Final competition. Jeshuah and Jeremiah will both be competing and we get to see them after being separated for the past 3 weeks.

Small town we went through

We arrived to snow and ice on the road…we were doing quite a bit of sliding on the freeway. Good job Donald for some excellent driving in dangerous situations. We saw semis off the road in jack-knife positions and cars off in the ditches too.

Competition Day!!

My favorite photo of the weekend.

Ginny McColl asking Jeshuah for advice on an obstacle. It looks like they are ballet dancing.(0:

Jeremiah getting some direction from a judge.

Jeshuah (red shirt and yellow ball cap) visualizing the course on the sideline. Competitors are not allowed to touch the course before their run so some walk alongside it and “pretend” they are running it.

Momma with her boys

One girl from the gym where Jeshuah and Jeremiah work sometimes has trouble needing to throw up while running a course. So, Jeshuah is here holding a barf cup in the event she needs it while running her turn on the course.

Goofy Jeremiah.

Jeremiah got to stage one and fell on an obstacle that he had praticed on in their gym the night before so he was a little cautious about hurting his shoulder.

Jeshuah got to stage three…he did VERY good. He hung well with some of the big named ninjas. He tied for third in one of the strongest ninja categories: Over the Ledge (cliffhanger)
