We attended church this morning at the RV park. They hold services in their recreation hall. We were very warmly greeted.
We decided to go see the Rio Grande and ended up eating lunch at the Riverside Club restaurant on the patio that’s on the water’s edge.

Lunch company

After lunch we went driving down the road on the levy. The border patrol stopped us from going any further down the road. Donald asked the officer where we could go to see the Rio Grande and they told us of a park a few miles down the road.
So we ended up at Anzalduas Park.
This is a very pretty park with picnic and fishing areas and nice views of the Rio Grande. Mexico is only a stone’s throw away and there is a Reynosa, Mexico park on the opposite side of the river. The park is a staging area for Border Patrol boats and personnel so there is a heavy law enforcement presence, making it one of the safest spots on the border.

We don’t have passports so we had to stay on the US side.
Ninja obstacles of course:
We ended the day in the hot tub and pool once again and boxes of cookies and milk to celebrate yesterday’s competition. (note…we can polish off 4 family size boxes of Oreos, Nutter Butters and Chips Ahoy in about 10 minutes). (0:
