Everyone but Suzie competed today. Videos of their runs will take a few days to compile and upload. They will be inserted in this blog post and on our ninja warrior page when they are done.
Jedidiah (9-10 year old group) and Audrah (11-12 year old group) both placed 4th in their age categories.
Then Kyrah ran. We signed her up that morning as there were no girls in her age category so we figured she had a good chance to place. She was guaranteed 1st since there were no other girls to compete. The course was a tough one for her but she gave it her all. She had worn her Island Ninja shirt (given to her several months ago in NC by Grant McCartney (he’s the Island Ninja). We didn’t know that he was coming to compete at this competition so we took a picture of her and him with their shirts on.
Jeremiah ran next. He, too, was guaranteed first place as he was the only competitor in his age group. He is pictured with Abel Gonzalez, the gym owner.

Next was Donald in the master’s category. There were only two competitors in his group. He ended up in first.
Last was the pro males which were Josiah and Jeshuah. This was Josiah’s first competition since his shoulder injury 7 months ago. He placed in 7th. He was pleased though that he didn’t get hurt on any of the obstacles.
Jeshuah placed 2nd.

Once again, we paid a late visit to the hot tub and pool at the RV park when we got home.
