Goodbye NC, Goodbye Josiah

Friday, September 6, 2019

Today is the day we leave NC and head west. We’d like to catch quite a few places in the north before the cold sets in.

Josiah has decided that he is finished with his year on this trip and is planning to head to Florida to live with Suzie’s parents. He’d like to focus on school.

Leaving one behind was very painful. But he is ready, he has a good head on his shoulders and we are looking forward to what he will accomplish.

Last pic together.

Parting shot.

We saw this photo of the highway on Okracoke that was destroyed by the hurricane. Just a few weeks ago we drove on this highway to visit the Okracoke. Glad we got to see it before it got battered.

  1. Such a big exciting step, but I can’t imagine how hard that was and will be. He is such a great young man, I know God has amazing plans for him.
