Today is Jedidiah’s 11th birthday.

We didn’t have any wrapping paper, so a paper Walmart bag was the special wrapping. (0:

 

He got a Lego camper set.

We are traveling to Pinnacles National Park today. It has talus caves. Talus caves are made by falling rocks and boulders piling up on each other creating caves. This is one of the newer national parks named a national park in 2013. Volcanic activity moved a lot of these boulders.

They aren’t pitch black caves as the sunlight comes through the cracks.

Donald was happy to find California Condors at the park. He has wanted to see some and he got to see 9 of them roost near the campground where we were staying.
